The Alabama Association for Financial Professionals (AAFP) strives to contribute to the advancement, development and promotion of our members and professional community.

The Alabama Association for Financial Professionals (AAFP) strives to be the local professional association of choice for individuals engaged in Treasury and Finance careers.

Our members are corporate practitioners, banking and service provider professionals whose responsibilities include decision-making in the fields of finance, investments, accounting, services and cash management.

Our members are drawn from a wide range of industries in the state of Alabama including insurance, accounting, manufacturing, higher education institutions, financial institutions and other public and private business sectors.

Our corporate members hold positions as Chief Financial Officers, Treasurers, Assistant Treasurers, Directors, Managers, Accountants and Analysts within their organizations, as well as Presidents and Principals of mid-size and small corporations.

Our service members hold positions as Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents and Officers within their organizations as well as College Professors and Educators.

Our financial institution members hold positions as Directors, Senior vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, Product Managers, Sales Managers, Product Specialists, Project Managers, Implementation Managers and other positions within the treasury management and/or corporate banking divisions of their respective companies.

To keep our members current and to provide training, we hold regular bi-monthly luncheon meetings throughout the year plus a full day education conference in the fall known as the AAFP Summit. Most AAFP meetings provide continuing education credits for Certified Public Accountants, CTP credits for Certified Treasury Professionals plus FP&A credits for Certified Financial Planning and Analysis Managers.
